Team templates are one of the most powerful features available with Canva for Work. Not only can you create templates that your whole team can use, but you can also edit default and team templates. After editing, your team will instantly have access to the most updated version. However, you must be an administrator or a template designer to edit a team template. Here’s how:
Go to the Templates tab
To edit a team template, you need to be on the Your Brand screen. If you’re not yet in the templates pane, click on the Templates tab.
Click the expand arrow
You'll see a preview of all of your team templates. To edit one, hover your mouse above the template to reveal the expand arrow on the upper right-hand corner of the design thumbnail.
Click the Edit template button
Click the expand arrow to show the edit and delete buttons. To edit the template, click the Edit template button. This will open the template in the design screen.
Edit the template
Make any changes you'd like to the team template. Like any design, changes made to the team template will automatically save as you work on the design. If you don't want your team to have access to the team template while you're editing it, click the privacy button to remove the template from other users, then click the privacy button again when you're finished.
