Note: Applicable to Canva contributors only.
Because Canva is headquartered in Australia, we don’t prepare or submit tax forms for our contributors in other countries (such as a US 1099). As a contributor, it’s your responsibility to accurately report your income and expenses.
If you’d like to view your royalty earnings, you can find a summary by visiting your account profile. Here’s how:
01. Go to your homepage
To view your Canva invoices and payments, go to the Canva homepage. This is the first screen you see when you log in to your Canva account. If you’re currently working on a design, you can quickly get to the Your Designs screen by clicking the text “Your designs” in the top left-hand corner.
02. Click view payments
Next, switch to your contributor brand by clicking on the account button, located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen with a copy of your profile image. Then choose “Settings” to go to the settings screen.
To see your royalty payments, click on the link marked “view payments” next to the Contributions heading. This will show a list of payments sent by Canva, which you may need to record as income for tax purposes.
