Canva (Standard) vs. Canva for Work

Your Brand

Canva for Work allows you to build consistent branding, templates, and designs that you can share across a team. This ensures a quicker, easier, and a more seamless design process!

With your team's Brand Kit, you have the ability to update your brand's colors, font's and even logos!

Even though team members may have different roles, your entire team can still use your Brand Kit for their designs. In addition to your brand colors, fonts and logos, you can also create team templates. Team templates can be used by all team members to create striking and consistent designs.

Uploads folders

Creating folders for your uploads allows you to organize your uploaded images. You can also choose which folders you would like to keep private or share with your team.

Designs folders

You can create folders to sort and organize your designs. This makes it easier for you to find and access certain designs.

Resize your designs

There are two ways to resize your Canva design with Canva for Work.

Resizing your design via the the Magic Resize option allows you to resize your design into multiple templates all at once. This is especially useful if you need a design in specific social media platforms, or different print sizes.

Resizing your design into custom dimensions allows you to resize your design in specific pixel dimensions.

Note: Using the Magic Resize option creates a copy or copies of your design in the different templates you chose to resize it to. On the other hand, choosing custom dimensions will resize the current design you are working on.

Download your design with a transparent background

Perhaps you want to make a design stand out by downloading it with a transparent background. You can certainly do so with Canva for Work!

Note: This feature works when your design has no background image or color. Tick the Make background transparent option and download your design as a PNG.

Copy a page from one design to another design

Sometimes you may find the need to use a page from one design in another design. However, you may only be able to copy a page to another design if they are of the same design template.

To do so, simply open the design you would like to copy a page from. Next, open the new design template you would like to copy a page to.

From the existing design, choose a page you would like to copy onto your current design. Click on that page and press Command/Ctrl + A to select all elements on that page. Next, press Command/Ctrl C to copy the page.

Open the new design you wish to copy it to and press Command/Ctrl + V to paste the entire page.

Team Stream

Need some feedback from team members for a design you've just created? You can choose to share your design with your team via the Team stream. Once you have shared your design with your team, they can comment or like the design.

Note: Any designs created are private by default. Your designs will only be seen by other team members if you explicitly choose to share them with others.

Presentation Mode

Is it that time to pitch your sales presentation to clients? Maybe you want to display your designs on a projector to show your social media mock-up posts? Presentation mode is now live on Canva!

Simply click the presentation button at the bottom right of the editor. It's right next to the zoom settings.

You can also watch YouTube videos in Presentation Mode. Simply add a YouTube link to an element on the design.

Click on that element in Presentation Mode, and you will now be able to watch a YouTube video within Canva!

Design Search

You no longer need to dig through all your designs! Now you can search for specific designs in your account. Give it a go and search for a design by its title, description, and even text found within the design.

Hi there,

Thanks for your message, I'll be glad to clarify the features you get when upgrading to the premium Canva for Work subscription!

With Canva for Work, you will have the ability to:

  1. Customize your brand and create team templates.
  2. Create folders for your uploads.
  3. Create folders for your designs.
  4. Resize your designs.
  5. Download your design with a transparent background.
  6. Copy a page from one design to another.
  7. Share your design with your team for comments or feedback.
  8. View your designs in Presentation Mode and watch a Youtube video in it.

A Canva for Work subscription gives you access to premium features. Premium elements will still cost $1 USD per element.
