Can I publish a design with a single element from the Canva library?

Creating a design with only a single element is against our One Time Use License or Multi-Use License. This means you can't download a design with just the element by itself. The license also prohibits using elements outside of the Canva service (such as exporting an element and then using it in another design app).

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out and for clarifying this with us!

Creating a design with only a single element (free or premium) is against our One Time Use License. The license also prohibits using elements outside of the Canva service (such as exporting an element and then using it in another design app).

Designs containing elements from our image library (even free elements) is subject to our One Time Use License.

In short, the license prohibits using designs as part of a logo or trademark, in on-demand products that will be sold, for purposes that are obscene or offensive, or for re-selling elements found in Canva. Please have a look at our One Time Use License Agreement if you are concerned about the way you intend your design to be used.

I hope this clears things up, please do let me know if you have any other concerns, I'd be glad to address them!
