Did you know that you can transform any element in your Canva design into a hyperlink? When you download your design as a PDF, your readers will be able to click on the links, and open it on the browser.
Canva tip: Embedded hyperlinks will only work on PDF files, as the universal format of the other file types like JPG and PNG are incompatible with this function.
Click the element
Choose the element you wish to turn into a hyperlink to select it, and open its edit menu (as seen on this screenshot - the blue arrow on the toolbar)
Click the expand arrow to show advanced options, then click the link icon.
Type the web address
This will open the hyperlink menu, where you can type or paste in the web address you would like to link to.
After you are done typing the web address, hit Enter from your keyboard.
Click the blue Link icon to edit
A blue link icon will now show up on the element’s edit menu, so you can see which elements are hyperlinked at a glance.
To edit the link, click on the blue link icon, edit the web address, and hit Enter from your keyboard.
Download your design
When it comes time to publish and download your design, make sure you choose the PDF download button. Other download file types will be unable to retain the hyperlink information.

How do I add a hyperlink to my design?
Hyperlinks will work only with PDFs. This is because the universal PNG/JPEG format doesn't allow for embedded links.
