How do I blur my images?

Blurring an image is commonly used to make certain elements in your design stand out. This effect sets emphasis of the content itself, as it sets the text apart form the image.

Here's how to use the blur feature:

01. Select Image

Click on an image in your design to select it and show the edit menu.

02. Customize

Select "Filter", and click on "Advanced Options" located on the lower left side of the Filter menu to reveal more options.

From there, you can start blurring your image. Simply go to the "Blur" option, and drag the slider to the right until you reach your desired level of blurriness.

Canva tip: You can also sharpen your image by sliding to the left.
