How do I rotate an element?

Any element can be rotated, including text, photos, and illustrations. To rotate an element, click on the element to select it.

Next, click and drag the rotate anchor until your element looks just right.

If you want to be super precise, a preview of exactly how many degrees you’ve rotated the element will show up next to the rotate anchor. The element will also "snap" into place every 45 degrees to help keep your design aligned with crisp angles.

If issue persists, please send us a report here.

Hi {{ticket.requester.first_name}},

Thanks for your message and for using Canva!

You can rotate an element(shapes/texts/icons/illustrations) by clicking on the element first then click and drag the rotate anchor located at the bottom of every element.

The element will also "snap" into place every 45 degrees.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!
