Why does my design still have watermarks?

You have paid for an element to use in your design however the watermark still appears. To check, do you see the watermark while on the Canva editor or on your downloaded design?

The watermarks disappear once you download your design on your computer, though it is still visible while you are on the editor page.

When you're designing in Canva, premium elements will appear with watermarks - a criss-cross pattern superimposed on top of images to protect the element's copyright holder.

To remove the watermarks, you just need to purchase and download the design.

Your downloaded file will have the watermarks removed, though they'll still appear when you view your design in Canva.

If you are still having downloading issues with premium elements after this process, report the issue to us and we'd be glad to offer some help.

Hi there,

Thanks for your message, I'd be glad to clarify this with you!

Do you see the watermark while on the Canva editor or once you have downloaded your design?

When you're designing in Canva, premium elements will appear with watermarks - a criss-cross pattern superimposed on top of images to protect the element's copyright holder. To remove the watermarks, you just need to pay for any premium elements used when you purchase and download your design.

Watermarks will always show when you view your design in the Canva editor. Your downloaded file will have the watermarks removed.
