Canva text tool has lots of options to choose from, all at the tip of your fingertips. To try out these options, add text to your design or select an existing text element you would like to edit. The edit menu will appear next to the text element, with several buttons you can click on to change your text’s style. Here is an explanation of just a few:
Change font type
The typeface button displays the current font type of the text element. Click on the font option to scroll through a menu of all available fonts, each with their name and a preview of the font style. Click any of the names to change the font style of your text element.
Change font size
The font size button displays the current size of the text element. Click to scroll through a menu of common font sizes to choose from, or simply type the font size you want and press ENTER.
Change font color
The font color button appears as a circle with the current font color. Click to open a menu of color swatches to choose from, including the most recently used colors. If you would like to use a custom color, click the new color button, shaped like a plus sign. Click and drag the small white circle around the color wheel to choose a new color, and then press ENTER or click anywhere in the design pane to change your text to the custom color.
